1. Supported Scope and App Capabilities

Support covers installation, adding FAQs in the app, theme app block placement, and block settings.

The block renders FAQs with no client-side JavaScript. Product FAQs are stored in the product's $app:faqs metafield and store-wide FAQs in $app:store_faq entries, both editable in Shopify admin.

2. Installation and Theme Setup Guide

1. Open the app from your Shopify admin Apps menu.
2. Open Add FAQ next to a product (App Home lists the first 25 products), or open Add Store-Wide FAQ.
3. Enter a question (up to 250 characters) and an answer (up to 2,000 characters). New questions are added at the end; to edit, reorder or delete one, edit the product's Product FAQs metafield or the Store FAQ entry in Shopify admin.
4. Click Save FAQ or Save Store-Wide FAQ.
5. Navigate to Online Store → Themes → Customize in your Shopify Admin.
6. Navigate to the Default product page template.
7. Click Add block in the product information section and select Product FAQ Accordion.
8. In the block settings, choose the heading, layout, FAQ source, description split heading, accent color and first-item behavior, and turn Enable Google FAQPage JSON-LD on or off.
9. Click Save in the upper right corner of the theme editor to make your FAQs live.

3. Structured Data

When Enable Google FAQPage JSON-LD is on, the block adds one schema.org/FAQPage JSON-LD block built from the questions it shows. Whether a search engine shows a rich result is that search engine's decision.

4. Troubleshooting and FAQs

FAQs not displaying on product page: Confirm the block is added to your active product template and its FAQ Source is not set to description headings only. A product with no FAQs of its own shows the store-wide FAQs; if there are none, the block shows only its heading.

Mobile formatting: With the Responsive tabs layout, screens narrower than 768px show a vertical accordion and wider screens show tabs. The Accordion layout stacks vertically on every screen.

6. Uninstalling

The app never writes to your theme files, so uninstalling leaves no app code in them.
